The RoleOur Docs Excellence team is looking for a systems-minded Technical Writer to join us in Chicago. This isn't a traditional writing role: we treat technical content as structured, living knowledge rather than static pages, and you'll operate as equal parts System Builder and Technical Curator.
You'll step into an established documentation practice: existing style guidelines, a domain-based team structure, and a workflow that blends traditional technical writing with AI-assisted tooling, and you'll help evolve it further as a Knowledge Architect. As System Builder, you'll design the metadata schemas, ontology, and context rules that guide automated first-pass content generation. As Technical Curator, you'll apply exceptional editorial judgment to review, fact-check, and refine that output into precise, trustworthy, and well-structured developer documentation.
