THE ROLE

Everpure (Formerly Pure Storage) is looking for a dynamic Technical Leader & CTO to lead and inspire a high-performing team in our Public Sector / Federal organization. In this pivotal role, you’ll guide talented pre-sales Systems Engineers who help the US Government’s National Security Agencies and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) modernize their data strategies with industry-leading all-flash storage, cloud, and AI-driven data solutions. This is a technical leadership role where both technical acumen and leadership skills are critical for success. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Demonstrate effective people development in a rapidly evolving technical space
• Assist in developing a technical sales strategy and executing against that plan.
• Act as an employee advocate who is focused on team and people development, demonstrating high EQ
• Have a desire to drive operational excellence; create a team support methodology and validation of technical demand
• Lead by example, living the Pure Values: Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork, Ownership, Customer-first
• Develop an exhaustive understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making
• Act as a lead technical officer in the territory which you cover
• Refine sales strategy and tactics, taking command of technical responsibilities
• Delight customers and teammates with your technical leadership and domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS and SAN product spaces

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 8+ years of Management experience leading high performing Sales Engineers selling into the US Federal & Intelligence Accounts,
• 10+ years experience supporting the sales of storage, networking or systems solutions to a combination
