Key Responsibilities: - Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service. - Greet guests warmly and assist them throughout their dining experience. - Take and accurately process food and beverage orders. - Have full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, preparation methods, and allergens. - Have good knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, and special offers. - Make appropriate recommendations and assist guests with menu selections. - Serve food and beverages according to established service standards. - Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and properly set. - Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests and concerns. - Process orders and payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. - Follow all outlet policies, procedures, and service standards. - Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements. - Be familiar with the Hotel Food Safety Management System. - Follow opening and closing procedures as assigned. - Assist with restaurant setup and ensure the outlet is ready for service. - Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, service stations, and work areas. - Communicate effectively with the Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other departments. - Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and professional team environment. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. - Previous Food & Beverage or restaurant service experience is an advantage. - Previous Point of Sale (POS) experience is an advantage. - Knowledge of food and beverage service standards. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Good attention to detail and organizational skills. - Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in financial practices. - Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions. - Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected.
