Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Geospatial Systems Engineerto join its national Digital Solutions Team. This individual will play a crucial role in designing and implementing systems that support both current and future Enterprise GIS environments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing and fast-paced technology team that works on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise deployments across on-premises, Azure, and AWS cloud environments for both internal and customer projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Langan’s geospatial, network and development teams to design and build ArcGIS Enterprise environments that serve both internal and external clients;
• Perform ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration, maintenance and support;
• Apply concepts of computing, networking, security, and the cloud to system design;
• Understand and apply Esri licensing and server roles;
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing server environments;
• Plan, develop, test, and document disaster recovery, redundancy, and backup activities for Enterprise GIS environments;
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate application installation, configuration, and administration;
• Write comprehensive documentation on system implementations and changes;
• Manage and apply updates to services and systems;
• Assist with third party integrations as per project requirements;
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies, cloud & systems engineering; and
• Respond to incidents by helping with recovery, mitigation, and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related discipline is required (Master’s degree a plus);
• 6 + years of real-world experience designing, executing, and supporting Esri ArcGIS Enterprise;
