What you will be doing

- Receive, sort, count, and organize clean and soiled linen according to hotel procedures.
- Distribute clean linen to Housekeeping and other departments as required.
- Collect soiled linen from designated areas and ensure it is sent to the laundry for processing.
- Inspect linen for stains, damage, and wear, separating items that require special treatment or replacement.
- Maintain accurate linen stock records and assist with regular inventory checks.
- Ensure linen storage areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Monitor linen levels and inform the supervisor of shortages or replenishment requirements.
- Handle linen carefully to prevent damage, loss, or unnecessary wastage.
- Follow proper hygiene, health, and safety procedures when handling clean and soiled linen.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Laundry teams to ensure a smooth and efficient linen supply.
- Assist with linen distribution during busy periods and support daily operational requirements.
- Report damaged, missing, or unusable linen to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel procedures for linen storage, rotation, and stock control.
- Contribute to maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and service standards through efficient linen management.
- Embody the MGallery spirit by demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and care in every task.

Your experience and skills include:

- Previous experience in a linen room, laundry, housekeeping, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of linen handling, sorting, storage, and stock control procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify stained, damaged, or worn linen.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to follow instructions and established hotel procedures.
- Physically fit to handle, lift, and move linen bundles safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
