Are you passionate about creating memorable dining experiences and delivering high-quality food? Novotel Surfers Paradise is looking for a talented and enthusiastic **Demi Chef** to join our dynamic Kitchen brigade.

**What You'll Be Doing..**

As a Demi Chef, you will play an important role in supporting our culinary operations by:

- Assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Supporting the Chef de Partie and broader kitchen team with daily operations.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
- Managing stock rotation and minimising food wastage.
- Contributing ideas to enhance menu offerings and guest experiences.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.

**What We're Looking For...**

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment.
- Relevant culinary qualifications.
- Previous experience in conference, events, banquets and a high-volume buffet breakfast operation highly desired.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
